Could you introduce yourself and give us a brief overview of your role and responsibilities at Bombay Softwares?

My name is Maitri Guruji, and I have been with Bombay Softwares for the past 3 and a half years, serving as an SDE-1 Backend Developer.

In my role, I primarily handle backend tasks, including server management, along with occasional front-end work and client communication.

What inspired you to pursue a career in the IT industry, and how did you land at Bombay Softwares?

My journey into the IT industry was sparked by a fascination with logical problem-solving and a desire to contribute meaningfully to society.

Competitive coding during my college years ignited my passion for technology and innovation, paving the way for my career choice.

Joining Bombay Softwares felt like a natural progression, combining my coding skills, past project experiences, and communication skills. I'm grateful for the chance to be part of such an innovative company.

What is the most appealing aspect of being part of the BS team?

The most appealing aspect of being part of the Bombay Softwares team is our culture of innovation and collaboration.

Every day, I collaborate with incredibly talented individuals who are dedicated to pushing boundaries and creating impactful solutions.

Could you share a project that you take immense pride in?

One project that fills me with pride is related to Fintech, which I worked on for 2 and a half years. This project involved handling huge real-time stock market data, presenting significant challenges in data management.

Through the dedication and teamwork of our entire team, we successfully handled the data by implementing efficient API logic and database management. Witnessing the positive impact of our efforts on our clients was truly rewarding.

The team at Bombay Softwares is diverse and skilled, with individuals from various backgrounds and expertise coming together to tackle complex challenges.

How do you spend your time outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy engaging in arts & crafts activities, practising yoga, swimming, and exploring new cultures through travel.

Spending time with friends and family is also important to me, as I believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance to recharge for new challenges.

Additionally, I am passionate about participating in social service activities and environmental events, allowing me to give back to the community and pursue interests beyond the workplace.
