Your role will involve both back-end and front-end development, including implementing WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring seamless site integration, and managing security updates.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong command of front-end programming languages, a keen eye for design, and solid content management expertise.

Responsibilities

  1. Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
  2. Develop, record and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications.
  3. Secure, high performance and scalable applications using Laravel.
  4. Testing and delivering high quality error free applications within a predefined time schedule.
  5. Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team.
  6. Ensure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications.
  7. Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools.
  8. Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to deliver cutting edge solutions that exceed client expectations.
  9. Learn quickly and use modern technologies in a fast-paced environment.
  10. Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post launch support.
  11. Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues.
  12. Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
  13. Maintain code quality using SonarQube.

Qualification & Skills

Mandatory

  1. Minimum 1 years of experience in PHP & its frameworks.
  2. Good understanding of programming concepts.
  3. Proficient in HTML, CSS(Bootstrap), JavaScript.
  4. Proficient in Laravel Blade templating.
  5. Knowledge on how to build and use RESTful APIs.
  6. Strong knowledge of version control (i.e., git).
  7. Hands-on experience of working on Linux based systems (Ubuntu).
  8. Solid database skills in a relational database (i.e., PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
  9. Must have knowledge on building raw queries.

Good to Have

  1. Good to have experience in deploying Laravel applications to production.
  2. Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure knowledge is a plus.
  3. Knowledge of Redis and RabbitMQ is plus.
