Responsibilities

  1. Write automation scripts using Python/Shell/Ansible.
  2. Deployment of low-latency, high-availability and performant applications.
  3. Prepare and maintain multiple applications utilising standard deployment tools.
  4. Documenting the deployment process, architecture and standard components.
  5. Set up and work with monitoring tools for alerts & improvement of applications.
  6. Create & maintain servers as per company standards.
  7. Perform infrastructure security evaluations and improvements to ensure security standards are met.
  8. Debugging application in case errors/outage.

Qualification & Skills

Mandatory

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience working as a DevOps engineer.
  2. Experience working on Linux-based systems.
  3. Hands-on experience with automation tools like Jenkins, CI/CD (preferably GitHub Actions), or Bitbucket Pipelines.
  4. Must have experience configuring and managing Nginx/Apache web servers.
  5. Hands-on in Python and Bash scripting.
  6. Must have experience deploying Python (Flask/Django), Node.js, and PHP projects.
  7. Experience with Terraform, including: Basic Terraform configuration, Terraform modules, Terraform Cloud
  8. Experience with database and backup management, particularly PostgreSQL and MySQL.
  9. Strong knowledge of version control systems.
  10. Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker or Singularity.
  11. Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
  12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good to Have

  1. Experience in deploying frontend & backend applications on production servers.
  2. Experience of Redis / RabbitMQ or any other similar application.
  3. Knowledge of Relational and NoSql databases.
