Could you introduce yourself and give us a brief overview of your role and responsibilities at Bombay Softwares?

I’m working as a Senior Analyst at Bombay Softwares. I develop and maintain comprehensive project plans including sprints, milestones, and documentation in coordination with the project manager, and identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in project delivery processes.

I am actively involved with our project clients to understand the requirements and the key business objectives. I also assist the management team with other internal projects and tasks.

What inspired you to pursue a career as a Business Analyst in the Tech industry, and how did you land at Bombay Softwares?

My decision to pursue a career as a Business Analyst was driven by a combination of analytical aptitude, a passion for problem-solving, and a keen interest in understanding the intricacies of business operations.

Upon completing my master's degree in Electrical Engineering, I soon realized that I should aim for a challenging career that fosters innovation and professional growth. I started enhancing my skill sets through several self-placed courses and training followed by proactive job hunting.

Landing at Bombay Softwares was a deliberate choice driven by the company's commitment to innovation, its dynamic work environment, and the alignment of its values with my career aspirations.

What is the most appealing aspect of being part of the BS team?

The defining characteristic lies in our shared dedication to fostering collaboration and innovation, establishing a work environment that is both stimulating and rewarding. There is a palpable sense of shared purpose and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of what is possible. I like to breathe in the atmosphere of continuous learning and professional growth, where team members are encouraged to expand their skill sets and contribute to the company's success.

Could you share a project that you take immense pride in?

I have worked with several diversified projects belonging to different domains like education, blockchain, health and fitness, finance, telecommunication, etc. I immensely take pride in one of the projects involved in a comprehensive finance application tailored for yacht and crew management.

The key objective was to create a centralized platform that not only facilitated efficient financial processes but also seamlessly integrated with yacht and crew-related operations.

Being a part of this project not only allowed me to contribute to the development of a sophisticated financial solution but also provided an opportunity to collaborate with experts in yacht and crew management.

Our company culture places a strong emphasis on open communication and idea-sharing. How do you spend your time outside of work?

I spend a good portion of my time outside the office with my family. I love to try out different dishes and I’m always ready to feed my curiosity. I play chess regularly and watch series involving sci-fi, mystery, crime, and fantasy. I also like to learn new skills so I stay proactive with learning and surfing.
